Drop in throughout the day to make sustainably sourced willow bird feeders, create seed bombs and planters, try clay crafting and tile making, and learn more about how communities can create greener, healthier cities for people and wildlife.
City Girl in Nature was founded by youth coach and mental health advocate Kwesia X, created to help people discover the healing power of nature, no matter where they live.
Inspired by Kwesia's own journey from inner-city London to the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, the project encourages people to reconnect with the natural world through local parks, green spaces and community action. Through walks, workshops, storytelling and mentoring, City Girl in Nature champions equal access to nature and promotes wellbeing through outdoor experiences.
Youth environmental charity Global Generation, which works with communities to transform urban spaces into thriving gardens and places to connect, visitors can take part in a range of creative, nature-inspired activities throughout the day.
