For one day only, George Street becomes a stage, canvas and playground as Centre Stage fills Richmond town centre with live music, theatre, hands-on making, skateboarding, markets, art and joyful public participation.
Explore creative activities for children and young people, discover independent makers and street food, join carnival workshops and processions, experience pop-up performances, and help reimagine what a town centre can be when culture, community and creativity take centre stage.

Programme
Nature Workshops with CityGirlinNature X Global Generation
Drop in throughout the day to make sustainably sourced willow bird feeders, create seed bombs and planters, try clay crafting and tile making, and learn more about how communities can create greener, healthier cities for people and wildlife.

Skate Ramps designed with Ham Youth Club, Liisa Chisholm and Betong UK
Admire and test out bespoke skate ramps have been designed in collaboration with the young people of Ham Youth Centre (TBC – names to be added) and London-based artist and skater Liisa Chisholm, transforming a set of skate ramps, built by Betong UK, into a piece of public artwork.

Centre Stage: Richmond Myths is a co-production between HemingwayDesign and Orange Tree Theatre
